Jemar Michael is an abstract artist and actor whose work intersects the worlds of playful spontaneity and colorful composition. Based in L.A. but born and raised in the Twin Cities of MN. Jemar's life and work are deeply inspired by his love for color, embracing imperfection, and finding the beauty in chaos.

As someone who's struggled with perfectionism as a child, Jemar's work is an ode to that inner child who never allowed himself to see the beauty in his imperfections. Jemar is also inspired by graffiti and street art which is prevalent in the cities he grew up in. His passion for color is always ever-present while creating vibrant compositions that leave a lasting visual impression.

Jemar's creative process is heavily based in intuition and color exploration. It's exploring the possibilities of choice while creating layers of raw emotion and playfulness. His work is a way to heal his inner child while also inviting viewers to connect to the playful side of their mind, interpret, and find their own stories within his work.
